By entering a specific location or using the GPS feature in TahoeAlerts, we eliminate any guesswork and ensure residents and visitors are signed up for the correct alert systems. Simply visit http://www.tahoealerts.com, enter your address or location, and let the system do the rest, identifying the emergency notification system that’s right for you.

Building 22 Elevator Repair Update

Attention:  Building 22 Elevator Update

We wanted to provide you with an important update regarding the elevator in Building 22 (11541 Dolomite Way), which has been out of service since February 28th due to compliance and other issues.

Todd has been actively working with both TK Elevator and Mountain Alarm to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the process has encountered delays:

  1. Recent Progress: Testing of the system was attempted on October 3rd, but a faulty breaker prevented the elevator from being powered on. This specific breaker (a 240w three-phase model) is no longer manufactured, and the electrician has been searching for a replacement.
  2. New Update: We’ve received word that a custom-made replacement breaker is currently being manufactured. The estimated time for this part to arrive is about three weeks. Once it’s installed, we’ll immediately schedule the necessary testing with both Mountain Alarm and TK Elevator to restore the elevator’s operation. Based on the current timeline, we expect the elevator to be back in service in roughly one month.

We truly appreciate your patience during this time. We will continue to keep you informed as we receive updates.

Point of Contact:

For any further questions or concerns regarding the elevator repairs, Todd Wold is the designated point of contact. You can reach him directly via the following methods:

Additionally, if you need assistance, you can also contact:

Please use Todd’s direct phone or email for items that need immediate attention or for scheduling coordination.  He is our liaison with the vendor.  Please do not contact the vendor directly as we want to keep the communications as streamlined as possible.  For any other requests for maintenance or account-related questions, we encourage owners to submit a request via TownSquare or with our national customer service center at info@associasn.com   Doing this will ensure your request is distributed to the right person who can help resolve your inquiry as quickly as possible.

We understand how important this matter is, and we are doing everything we can to expedite the process. Thank you again for your continued understanding and cooperation.

Elevator Repair Update

Good day All,

Please see the below information we have received from Tom regarding the elevator that is out.

The elevator in building 22 (11541 Dolomite Way) has been out of service since being red and yellow tagged on 2/28 for compliance and nonpayment. Once Mountain Alarm began monitoring the elevator we were able to set up testing with TK Elevator. They failed to show up for the first scheduled appointment. TK Elevator and Mountain Alarm were on site 10/3 for testing. When we tried energize the system there was no power due to a breaker that could not be reset. The following day Mike Kellogg had an electrician take a look. The 240w three phase breaker is no longer being manufactured.

The electrician is looking for a replacement and is having difficulty locating one. If a replacement cannot be found it will require further updates to the switch gear. Once installed, an appointment with TK Elevator/Mountain Alarm can be scheduled for the inspection. I have spoken in person regularly with three of the four residents of 11541 Dolomite and responded to email and Town Square inquiries. I have no estimated date of completion until the part can be located. Let me know if you need further details or if you have any questions.
