RE: Mandatory Fire Sprinkler Inspection
Dear Homeowner:
The Board of Directors has contracted with Alwest Fire Protection to perform the mandatory five-year fire sprinkler inspection as required by the State of California. The inspection is scheduled to take place over two days with a make-up day scheduled for the third day. The inspections will be between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 and 7:30 am to 1 pm, Thursday, August 7th, 2025. The technicians will need access to 100% of each unit between those hours. Thursday will be for make ups of missed units.
If you need to make a special timeframe request in those 3 days, please make sure to do so 1 week prior to inspections. Please email jharkey@associasn.com with your address in the subject line and in the body of the email include the date to which the unit will be available and contact information for while onsite.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOU ARE HOME FOR THIS INSPECTION OF YOUR BUILDING & UNIT. THE COMPANY WILL USE SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO INSPECT THE FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM & DOCUMENT ANY NEEDED REPAIRS.
IF YOU CAN’T BE HOME THEN PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IN THE HOME TO ALLOW ACCESS.
Please be aware that Alwest Fire Protection is required to report all deficiencies to the Truckee Fire Department if not corrected after forty-five days. If you have specific questions, contact Alwest Fire Protection LLC at 916-784-0146.
